With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you have reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education. It means that you have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.
When you're ready to take your diving to the next level, we're here for you with our MSD Program!
It's simple, our program begins after your Open Water Diver course has been completed and starts you on Advanced Open Water. Once AOW is completed and you are ready, it’s time to start working on you Specialty and Rescue Diver.
After Rescue Diver and your Specialties have been completed and the minimum dives logged, it’s time to fill out your Master Scuba Diver Application.
In order to obtain your Master Scuba Diver rating you must have completed the following:
Advanced Open Water
PADI Rescue Diver
Completed 5 PADI Specialties
Have a minimum of fifty (50) logged dives.
Our program is customized to your diving style aside from required courses, our program allows you to pick your Specialties. Program Includes:
Advanced Open Water Course
Emergency First Response, CPR & 1st Aid w/AED. Course
Emergency Oxygen Provider Course
PADI Rescue Diver Course
5 PADI Specialty Courses. (Some Restrictions May Apply)
MSD Application (PADI Fees Not Included).
Tanks and weights to be used during the courses.
Upon finishing the program you’ll receive a AZ Divers MSD T-Shirt to show your fellow divers you invested the time to be the best!
Dive gear is not included with the course(s). Discounted Rates are offered to MSD Program Students.
As someone looking to become a Master Scuba Diver, you should understand the benefit of having your own equipment. While not required, we recommend you start evaluating and purchasing your dive gear. Our team is here to assist in choosing your gear and reviewing the pros and cons with you. Even if it is gear we do not carry!
Specialty Equipment such as lights (Night Diver).
You may chose 5 from any of the following courses:
Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat Diver, Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV), Drift, Dry Suit, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, Fish Identification, Search & Recovery, Altitude Diver, Sidemount, Deep, Enriched Air, Night Diver, Debris Removal Diver and Full Face Mask Diver.

To obtain your Master Scuba Diver rating paying on a course by course basis you would be looking at a couple thousand dollars. By signing up for the MSD Program your cost is just $895.00
The program is also at your pace, take up to two years to complete.
